Voter registration laws in New Hampshire have changed:

If you are not already registered to vote at your address in Lebanon, you will be required to complete a Voter Registration Form provided by your local town/city clerk or supervisor of the checklist.  You will need to provide: proof of your identity, age, U.S. citizenship and domicile (primary residence address). Visit the City of Lebanon website for more information about what documents can be used for voter registration.

  • Same Day Voter Registration is allowed in New Hampshire. While the deadline to register in advance has already passed, you can still register at your polling place.
  • Digital copies of your documents are acceptable as proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile.
  • Real ID or Global Entry cards are not sufficient for proof of citizenship by themselves. If you have a NH Real ID compliant driver’s license you may, if you are unable to locate proof of citizenship, ask the clerk to consult the DMV’s digital records to see if they can locate your proof of citizenship there.
